Softball. Cooper and Howard Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

AUBURN, Ala. -- Sophomore Kasey Cooper and junior Tiffany Howard were named to the Capital One Academic All-District (4) Team today by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America. With both honors, both Cooper and Howard will be placed on the national ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, which will be voted on later this month.

Cooper and Howard become the first Auburn softball players to be awarded academic all-district since Jenee Loree made the list in 2011. Auburn softball has only had one player in its history named academic all-american and it was Paige Jones in 2005.
