AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn closed fall softball in style defeating Northwest Florida State in game one of their fall double header, 19-1, and then defeating Columbus State, 11-1, in game two.
It was an all-around great performance for the Tigers as they tallied a combined 27 hits, 30 runs, 18 strikeouts, and only allowed nine hits as a pitching staff. Over both games, sophomore Carlee Wallace went 4-for-5 including two RBI doubles in game one.
Freshman Makayla Martin got the start in game one tossing four innings with six strikeouts and only six hits allowed.
