AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn softball team, once again, showed a complete performance Saturday afternoon sweeping Chipola College by a combined 27 runs, while giving up no runs of its own in its second fall double-header of 2015.
Auburn defeated the defending NJCAA Division I national champions 14-0 in game one and 13-0 in game two, getting one heck of a performance from junior Jenna Abbott at the plate.
Abbott combined over both games went a combined 2-for-4 with two three-run home runs, one in each game. Her performance complimented another stellar outing by the Auburn pitching staff.
