Auburn’s passing attack isn’t all that much, but it hasn’t mattered because of the Tigers’ tremendous success on the ground. Auburn is averaging 302.9 rushing yards per game, and it has two players on pace for 1,000-yard seasons.
Only one SEC team – Auburn in 2013 – has averaged 300 rushing yards per game since Alabama did so in 1980 with its wishbone offense, and that was Auburn in 2013; that season, the Tigers averaged 328.
