Sean White knew Saturday his life as a backup was likely entering a second year.
The quarterback, however, prepared as if he was Auburn's starter throughout the spring. On Monday, White and the world received word Jeremy Johnson had been named the starter.
Shocking? No. But White knew how he'd handle the news when asked about the future following Auburn's A-Day game Saturday.
"I'm just going to be ready to go, whatever the coaches tell me to do," White said. "I can only prepare myself like I'm the starting quarterback, whether I end up as the starting quarterback or not.
