Up-and-coming receiver Tony Stevens is expected to miss Auburn's annual spring scrimmage Saturday with an injured left leg.
The rising junior wore a protective boot over his left lower leg, which was supported at the knee by a scooter as he watched practice from the sideline Tuesday. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn did not reveal detailed information about the injury.
"I would say he's probably doubtful for Saturday but it's nothing that will be too serious," Malzahn said.
Stevens caught one pass for 22 yards last season, but is expected to challenge for a starting job at outside receiver in the fall.
