AUBURN, Ala. – Senior Redatu Semeon highlighted day two of the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships, winning bronze in the 3000 meter steeplechase Saturday night on the campus of South Carolina. The Tigers had a strong showing in the evening session, with nine athletes advancing to finals in six events.
“Overall, we had another solid day as a team,” Auburn head coach Ralph Spry said. “We had some very strong performances in the night session, especially with our sprinters. We left some points on the table today, but this is a tough meet and we are going to have to bounce back and battle tomorrow.
