It wasn’t long ago when the Tigers finished their best nonconference schedule in a decade. The once 10–2 Tigers who beat UConn and Oklahoma to finish out-of-conference play blew a first half double-digit lead to rival Georgia and saw the Bulldogs leave Auburn with a double-digit win. Auburn still has no answer for Vandy or Memorial Coliseum as the Commodores led by Big Man Luke Kornet and high-scoring guard Matt Fisher-Davis blew by the Tigers 80–61. Kornet didn’t log another triple-double as he did against Auburn last year, but his double-double and Fisher-Davis’ 33 points were more than enough.
