That upcoming Kenny Chesney gig is still being advertised as the first ever at Jordan-Hare. And it still isn’t, still won’t be. But now the fact-checking gaffe seems even more inexplicable.
Last Fall, we pointed out that the Chesney show would be at least the third major concert at the stadium, and the second in just 15 years. But hey, guess what — it’ll be at least the fourth!
Because the Lettermen that took the field at Cliff Hare on Oct. 22, 1964 weren’t football players. They were, you know, the singing group The Lettermen.
