At that point things did not look good for the junior who is averaging over 12 points a game. He was immediately ruled out for the second half, which was no surprise. However, he was spotted on the bench in uniform in the second half making us believe that maybe the injury wasn’t as serious as we might have thought.
Head coach Bruce Pearl was also optimistic after the game saying the he believes the injury is not serious.
Pearl did however say that Dunans will not play in the final game of the Diamond Head Classic in Hawaii, but hopefully he’ll be ready for the Tigers’ SEC opener against Tennessee on January 2.
