Every football offseason, there are several go-to topics to fill the void. From Auburn’s perspective, these include Auburn moving to the SEC East, schedule changes and Tigers national championships.
On this week’s “Pat Dye Show” on ESPN 106.7 in Auburn on Wednesday night, the former Auburn coach sat down with former Auburn AD Jay Jacobs and discussed whether the school should claim more national championships.
“I promise you that this is not a passion for me,” Dye said. “I’m totally comfortable with where I am. But the players on the ’83 team and the ’93 team and the 2004 team deserve to be recognized as national champions.
