OPELIKA, Ala. – No. 6 Auburn men’s golf holds a three stroke lead after the opening round of play at the Tiger Invitational Presented by Jason Dufner, carding a 7-under 281 at Grand National on Sunday. Three Tigers carded in the 60s on the par-72, 7,149-yard Lakes Course.
The Tigers hold a three stroke lead over Kennesaw State (284) and an eight stroke lead over the Mississippi State Bulldogs (289).
Sophomore Jovan Rebula and freshman Wells Padgett each carded 4-under 68 on the day and are tied for third just two shots back off day one leader Pablo Rodriguez-Tabernero of Kennesaw State (6-under 66).
