OXFORD, Miss. – No. 10 Auburn softball fell to Ole Miss 3-2 in eight innings Sunday in the series finale at the Ole Miss Softball Complex. The Tigers still took the series 2-1 for their third-straight SEC series win.
Auburn has taken the last eight series from the Rebels and have never dropped a series played in Oxford. In total, the Tigers have won 15-of-18 series played.
Sunday’s game featured a low-scoring battle between Auburn pitchers Chardonnay Harris and Ashlee Swindle and Ole Miss Ace Kaitlin Lee.
