It’s been an anxious three days for Auburn football players waiting to hear their names called out in the 2019 NFL Draft. No Tiger was called out in Thursday’s opening round. Then on Friday one player was drafted in the 3rd round.
Cornerback Jamel Dean, was that first Auburn player taken. He was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Then on Saturday Jarrett Stidham was selected in the 4th round by the Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots. Perhaps no other Auburn player drew as much attention from scouts than Stidham.
