These things hardly make headlines anymore. An NFL player arrested for drug possession barely gets a mention. It doesn’t make it any less sad. This time it’s former Auburn star Tre Mason.
According to reports, the Los Angeles Rams player has been charged with two misdemeanors and two traffic offenses – resisting an officer, possession of marijuana, reckless driving and failure to register a motor vehicle.
After being stopped for going 75 mph in a 35 mph zone, a taser was used on Mason to remove him from his vehicle over the weekend in Hollywood, Florida. Officers found 12 grams of marijuana in his car.
