It could have been a lot worse to be completely honest. Save for a lone inning where the Auburn defense forgot how to look the ball into the glove and alligator the ball into it…twice…this was an absolute bludgeoning by the Tigers. Jack Owen came out and looked strong, setting down the first 10 he faced in order. He was able to escape the top of the 4th when the defense had a moment but that was it for his evening, going 4, giving up 3 runs with a walk and 6Ks.
