Michael Hebert qualifies for first U.S. Open

ROSWELL, Ga. – Former Auburn standout and current Web.com Tour player Michael Hebert secured a spot in the 2018 U.S. Open following a tie for first at the 36-hole qualifier Monday.

Hebert, who was a two-time All-SEC selection for the Tigers, qualified for his first career U.S. Open.

The Orlando, Fla. native tied for first in a field of 43 at 2-under after firing rounds of 70 and 72 at Ansley Golf Club on the Settindown Creek Course.
