OPELIKA, Ala. - When Jason Campbell throws a football, he can deliver it within inches of his intended target time after time. When hitting a golf ball? Not so much.
“You’re used to being good at some other things,” said Campbell, the SEC Player of the Year in 2004 who played a decade in the NFL. “But then golf, you can’t control where the ball goes, and that makes you feel like, ‘Man, I’m terrible.’ It definitely humbles you a lot.”
