Malzahn: QB White will be 'ready to go' at bowl

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said he is confident Sean White will be healthy enough to return as starting quarterback for the Tigers' bowl game.

"He'll be full force and ready to go," Malzahn told ESPN on Sunday, a day after Auburn lost 30-12 to Alabama, the Tigers' second straight SEC loss to close the regular season.

Malzahn expects the Tigers, who are in line for a Sugar Bowl berth, to be much healthier across the board with five weeks to recover.

"I'm proud of our team finishing second in the SEC West, the toughest division in college football," said Malzahn, whose Tigers (8-4, 5-3 SEC) recovered from a 1-2 start after losing to Clemson and Texas A&M early.
