Gus Malzahn announced on his Thursady night call in show that quarterback Jeremy Johnson will be the starter against Alabama A&M in place of an injured Sean White.
Hopefully Johnson will have as good a game as he did in August, 2014 when he started in place of Nick Marshall against Arkansas. Although he only played the first half but he came out on fire, completing eight straight passes and led the Tigers to an early 21-7 lead in the second quarter.
He finished the first half 12-of-16 passing for 243 yards and two touchdowns to help the Tigers blow out the Razorbacks 45-21.
