AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn had two more competitors take the court Monday as the qualifying round began at the ITA Men’s All-American Tournament in Tulsa, Okla.
Marko Krickovic won his opening-round match 6-2, 6-3 over Leopold Gomez Islinger of Wisconsin-Green Bay, who advanced from the pre-qualifying bracket. Krickovic’s first opponent on Tuesday will be Filip Kraljevic of Ole Miss.
Max Hinnisdaels was also a winner in his opening match, defeating Dylan McCloskey of Tulsa 6-4, 6-1. Hinnisdaels will face Simon Noremius of North Carolina State in his first match on Tuesday.
Dante Saleh and Conner Huertas del Pino saw their run come to an end in pre-qualifying singles just one win short of advancing to the qualifying bracket.
