AUBURN, Ala. – Senior Joseph Van Dooren was selected Tuesday to the SEC Community Service Team in men’s tennis, recognizing the accomplishments of outstanding student-athletes beyond the field of competition.
An officer with Auburn’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, Van Dooren planned and was involved with activities such as the Toys for Tots annual collection and distribution, Downtown Auburn Trick or Treat festival, Annual campus Student-Athlete Day and the SAAC clothing drive. A speaker at the 2016 Tiger Tailgate, he also volunteers with the Lee County Humane Society.
