AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn’s Max Hinnisdaels followed up his doubles championship with a singles title Sunday at the Duke Bonk Invitational in Cary, N.C. The junior posted a 6-4, 6-4 win over Anudeep Kodali in the finals of the Black bracket to claim the title with four straight singles wins over the weekend.
Dante Saleh, who teamed with Hinnisdaels for the doubles title, took fifth place in the White bracket with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Duke’s Adrian Chamdani. Conner Huertas del Pino finished sixth in the Blue bracket, dropping a rigorous three-set match to VCU’s Philip Mobius on Sunday, 7-6 (3), 6-7 (3), 7-5.
