AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn’s Maxime Hinnisdaels completed action Friday afternoon at the 2015 National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships, falling to Florida State’s Benjamin Lock in three sets in the men’s consolation singles bracket.
Lock got out to an early lead, winning the first set 6-2, but Hinnisdaels took charge of the second set early and posted a 6-4 win. In the third set, Hinnisdaels was up 3-0 but Lock came back to record a 6-4 win and take the match.
The USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships serve as the culmination of the fall season.
