Auburn, Ala. — Eric Shore, who has served as Auburn’s men’s tennis coach the last 26 seasons, is retiring announced Athletics Director Jay Jacobs. The winningest coach in the program’s history, Shore compiled a 359-293 record. He will assist with the men’s program until his replacement has been hired.
“After giving careful thought and consideration, I’ve decided to retire from coaching at Auburn,” Shore said. “I’ve been fortunate to work with a lot of great people. I want to thank all of the former players and assistant coaches for their contributions to the program.
