AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn’s doubles team of Max Hinnisdaels and Dante Saleh advanced to the final of the Blue bracket in doubles Friday at the Duke Bonk Invitational, being played at the Cary Tennis Park in Cary, N.C.
Hinnisdales and Saleh posted initial wins over Aziz Kijametovic and Jacob Nicollosi (Old Dominion, 8-4) and then over Vitor Lima and Arvid Noren (VCU) to advance to the finals. The Auburn duo will face Blaine Boyden and Anudeep Kodali (North Carolina) in the doubles championship, which begins Saturday at 8 a.m. ET.
In the White doubles bracket, Auburn’s tandem of Marko Krickovic and Conner Huertas del Pino dropped its first match to Duke’s Vincent Lin and Adrian Chamdani 8-6, but advanced to the consolation final with an 8-4 victory over Alex Gornet and Sean Donahue of Louisville.
