AUBURN, Ala. – All-SEC senior Michael Johnson has been named SEC Golfer of the Week for the first time of his career after tying the third-lowest 54-hole score in school history at 14-under 66-68-68—202 at the Mobile Sports Authority Intercollegiate as he won medalist honors for the second time this season and fourth of his career.
“It’s a great honor to be SEC Golfer of the Week,” Johnson said. “I’ve always wanted to win the award. It’s extremely difficult to win it because the conference is filled with great players. Hopefully I can win the award again this season.
