AUBURN, Ala. - Former All-American Blayne Barber finished in a four-way tie for runner-up at the RSM Classic PGA Tour event at Sea Island, Ga., falling to Mackenzie Hughes in a 3-hole playoff on Monday. It is the best finish of his four-year career on the PGA Tour.
Barber, who is trained by Auburn Head Coach Nick Clinard, finished at 17-under 63-68-68-66—265 after four rounds of play and entered a playoff with Hughes, Camilo Villegas, Henrik Norlander and Billy Horschel.
Barber, Hughes, Villegas and Norlander pared the par 4, 18th on the first two playoff holes late Sunday night before play was suspended due to darkness.
