M. Golf. Auburn’s Ben Schlottman t-2nd after Schenkel 1st round

STATESBORO, Ga. – Auburn sophomore All-American Ben Schlottman fired a 6-under 66 and is tied for second after the Schenkel Invitational first round at the par 72, 6,947-yard Forest Heights Country Club on Friday.

Schlottman, playing as an individual, carded five birdies on the first nine and three on the back and is two shots back in a four-way tie for second behind leader Davis Womble of Wake Forest.
