AUBURN, Ala. – Former Auburn All-American Blayne Barber is tied for 16th after shooting a 4-under 67 in the second round of the Barbasol Championship at the Grand National Lakes Course on Friday.
He was 5-under on his final five holes with an eagle on No. 5 with birdies on Nos. 6. 7 and 9.
“I was just trying to get a birdie, just trying to get moving in the right direction,” Barber said. “To make an eagle like that just kind of got me a little momentum and then I ended up birdieing the next two holes after that.
