Auburn incoming freshman Jacob Solomon
AUBURN, Ala. - Jacob Solomon, who will be a freshman for Auburn men's golf in 2015-16, was named to the American Family Insurance ALL-USA Boys Golf first-team.
Solomon earned California bragging rights when he won the individual title at the CIF state championship. Rickie Fowler and Patrick Cantlay are among the list of former state champions. Solomon, who is ranked No. 21 by the AJGA, finished in a sixth-place tie at state last season.
The Dublin, Calif., native tied a record for most consecutive AJGA wins when he took home three trophies in 2012.
