AUBURN, Ala. – Jared Harper, a 5-foot-10, 160-pound guard from Mableton, Ga., and Pebblebrook High School, has signed a national letter of intent to attend Auburn University and play basketball in 2016-17, head coach Bruce Pearl announced on Thursday.
Harper is a consensus four star by ESPN, 247Sports, Rivals and Scout. He is ranked 52nd nationally by Rivals, 91st by ESPN and 104th by 247Sports. He was named co-MVP at the Nike EYBL Peach Jam championship game, totaling 34 points, eight assists and four rebounds in Team Georgia’s 104-77 victory against the St. Louis Eagles.
“Jared Harper is undersized and still underrated,” said Pearl.
