Tyler Harris believes Auburn provides “the perfect situation” for him to play his final season of college basketball. That is why he chose the Tigers after graduating form Providence following last season.
Harris, a graduate student at Auburn in adult education, averaged 9.9 points and 4.0 rebounds last season. The Friars finished 22-12 and just a game out of second in the Big East.
Prior to spending two seasons at Providence, Harris played his freshman season at North Carolina State.
When Harris was deciding where he wanted to play his final season of college basketball, his relationship with Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl gave the Tigers the edge.
