AUBURN, Ala. u2015 Tyler Harris did just about everything he could do to end South Carolina's unbeaten season, but the Gamecocks stayed the course Tuesday night in Auburn Arena.
Harris hit his first nine shots, but No. 20 South Carolina was still too much for Auburn, winning XXX to improve its record to 14-0 in its SEC opener.
Harris finished with 22 points, hitting 10 of his 13 shots, as Auburn fell to 7-6 overall and 1-1 in the league. Kareem Canty added 21 for Auburn.
South Carolina led by 18 with three minutes left in the first half, but a 6-0 run by Auburn, or to be specific, by Harris, cut the Gamecocks' lead to 59-51 with 11:30 remaining.
