AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn sophomore Horace Spencer’s surgery on his left meniscus was successful. The surgery was performed by Dr. Jesse Pace at Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital in Phenix City on June 14.
“It was a tough break for Horace this summer,” said Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl. “He got off to a great start. Having just lost four frontline players in Jordon (Granger), Tray (Reed), Tyler (Harris) and Cim (Bowers), this is a big year for Horace.
“It’s a tough break for him to miss the summer, but he is already ahead of schedule in his rehab, and he has a healthy knee.
