AUBURN, Ala. – Auburn basketball will play in the 2017 Gildan Charleston Classic in an eight-team field of Clemson, Dayton, Temple, Hofstra, Indiana State and Old Dominion Nov. 16, 17 and 19 at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C, it was announced on Thursday. It will be televised by the ESPN networks.
Both Dayton and Temple reached the NCAA Tournament last season while Hofstra played in the NIT.
This will mark Auburn’s second time to play in the Charleston Classic, going 1-3 in 2012 by defeating the College of Charleston and losing to Murray State and Dayton.
