AUBURN, Ala. – Cinmeon Bowers was among five Auburn basketball student-athletes named to the First-Year SEC Academic Honor Roll, the most from any SEC men’s basketball team, Commissioner Greg Sankey announced on Wednesday.
Bowers, a rising senior from Racine, Wis., majors in Public Administration. Rising senior Cole Stockton from Auburn, who majors in Biomedical Sciences/Pre-Physical Therapy and sophomore Patrick Keim from Birmingham, who majors in Pre-Civil Engineering, were honored along with Antoine Mason (14.4 ppg, .402 3fgs) and K.C. Ross-Miller (7.1 ppg, 2.3 apg), who both majored in Adult Education.
“I’m extremely proud of the hard work on and off the floor from each of these guys,” said Auburn head coach Bruce Pearl, whose team recorded a perfect 1000 APR score this past season.
