BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Auburn baseball redshirt senior infielder Luke Jarvis has been named to the 2018 SEC Baseball Community Service Team, the league announced Wednesday morning.
The SEC Community Service Team highlights a student-athlete from each school who gives back to his community through superior service efforts.
Along with his performance on the diamond during each of the last two seasons, the San Diego, Calif., native has been a strong representative of Auburn baseball and has made himself recognizable off the field through his service work in the community.
Along with being a volunteer for the Beat Bama Food Drive, Jarvis’ biggest and most influential service effort involves visiting with and reading to a class of first graders at Dean Road Elementary.
