Game 1 of the Super Regional between Auburn and Louisiana-Lafayette begins at 1 p.m. on Friday. The series is a best-of-three with the winner punching a ticket to the College World Series in Oklahoma City.
Auburn will start Marcy Harper in the circle, who has been the hot hand of late. Since her start against Arkansas on April 24, the junior has a 1.79 ERA, only allowing six runs over 30 2/3 innings. In that span, she threw a one-hitter against South Alabama, a four-hit, one-run complete game against Alabama in the SEC Tournament and a two-hit, one run game against LSU.
