AUBURN, Ala. – Continuing the trend of having players named top prospects in their class, Auburn third baseman Josh Anthony was tabbed a Baseball America Top Senior Prospect Thursday. Anthony appeared at No. 20 on the list of the nation’s top 50 seniors.
In his first season on The Plains in 2017, Anthony was one of two Tigers to play in all 63 games throughout the season. The Columbus, Ga., native posted a .266 average and reached base at a .375 clip. Anthony hit 14 doubles with a pair of home runs and drove in 39 RBI, tied for second on the team.
