With Sean White on the mend, Auburn will turn to Jeremy Johnson at quarterback for Saturday's home game against Alabama A&M.
Auburn coach Gus Malzahn announced Thursday on the Tiger Talk radio show that White wouldn't play this Saturday after reinjuring his shoulder in last week's loss to Georgia and that it would be Johnson, the team's third-string quarterback, who would get the start instead of John Franklin III.
"I know our team's excited for him," Malzahn said, referring to Johnson. "He's excited. John Franklin will get a chance to do things, too, but we're very excited for Jeremy.
