Auburn will have a familiar face back as its starting quarterback Saturday.
Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said Thursday night on his weekly radio show that senior Jeremy Johnson will make the start for the Tigers against Alabama A&M.
“I know our team is excited for him,” Malzahn said. “He’s excited and I’m excited for him. … He’ll be ready to go.”
Johnson will be starting in place of sophomore Sean White, who will sit out of Saturday’s game because of a shoulder injury.
“Sean White has not practiced this week,” Malzahn said. “Sean won’t play this week.
