WEST POINT, Miss. – Auburn sophomore Elena Hualde shot a 3-under-par 69 to pace the Tigers’ women’s golf team in Tuesday’s final round of the Magnolia Invitational.
It was the best individual round of the week for the 17th-ranked Tigers, who tied for fourth-place at 877 (+13) after shooting 292 (+4) on Tuesday at Old Waverly Golf Club.
“Overall, very disappointed with a tie for fourth-place finish,” Auburn head coach Melissa Luellen said. “Just had to count too many high numbers over the three days. Clean that up and we will have better finishes.
