For all the talk about how LSU needs to get ready for a #1 vs #2 matchup in Tuscaloosa in a couple weeks, they’d better not fail to strap it up later today. Auburn and LSU has more often than not been an extremely close game, and a battering ram of a meeting. Both teams have left this game bloodied and bruised, and sometimes the winner has been disabled to its detriment because of the hard-hitting nature of the action on the field.
This one could be different, because LSU’s now predicated a little bit more on finesse with the passing attack of Joe Burrow/Brady, but Auburn will try to inject a little bit of the winning grind that we saw in victories over the purple Tigers in the early 2000s.
