It is only the first week of the season, but the biggest buzzword for Saturday night’s game between Auburn and Clemson might be “Heisman.”
Quarterback Deshaun Watson and Clemson head to Auburn to start what they hope to be a national championship run after finishing second to Alabama last season. In addition to Clemson searching for a undefeated season, Watson already has been placed at the top of the 2016 watch list. If Watson wins in December, he will be the first player in Clemson history to win the award and add to the list of players to win at a program in which John Heisman coached.
