Who could blame him? After tweaking his ankle in the season opener, Robinson missed the next seven games. He returned the week before against Ole Miss, rushing for 91 yards on 18 carries, and he wanted to keep that momentum going against Texas A&M.
“Off that initial conversation, the head coach had to have confidence in me,” Robinson said after the game. “We didn’t win the toss, but we got the ball in the second half.
