Gus Malzahn looking for offensive improvements vs. Arkansas State

AUBURN, Ala. – This year’s Auburn team comes with a lot of new faces – some that were seen for the first time last week against Clemson. Now, against Arkansas State this Saturday, the Tigers hope to straighten things out better amongst those players.

In Auburn’s case, though, it’s dealing with a mostly young group of receivers – including Will Hastings, Stanton Truitt, Nate Craig-Myers and Kyle Davis – who have room for growth.

In the Tigers’ 19-13 loss to Clemson, Hastings was second behind only senior Marcus Davis in receptions for the game. The sophomore had three for 29 yards in the first significant action of his career.
