Coleman, from Olive Branch, Miss., signed with Auburn in February 2010 but was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia a few months later. He began chemotherapy and was able to enroll at Auburn in January 2011. He didn’t play football again until April 2012, when he was able to participate in a spring practice. He redshirted that fall, then finally hit the field in a game again in 2013 as a backup. He was the Tigers’ starting left tackle in 2014 and ’15.
