AUBURN, Ala. -- Auburn athletics had its best year ever in revenues and finished Fiscal Year, ending June 30, 2015, with a cash-basis net operating surplus of $1.9 million.
Athletics generated a record $123.9 million in revenue, the result of higher priority ticket sales in football and men's basketball and new funds from the SEC Network. Auburn recorded an operating expense of $122 million.
Auburn took in a record $36 million in priority seating and gifts.
"The fiscal state of Auburn Athletics is strong," Director of Athletics Jay Jacobs said. "Thanks to the loyal support of our donors and solid fiscal management, we are well positioned to provide the best student-athlete experience in the nation.
