It took some time, but Auburn finally found some rhythm on offense, and the defensive line had a field day against Ole Miss’ offense as the Tigers rolled up the Rebels in Oxford 31-16. Auburn improves to 5-3 with the win, Ole Miss falls to 5-3 with the loss, and the Tigers will get a week off before November welcomes Texas A&M to the Plains.
Boobee Whitlow dominated the ground game with 170 yards on just 19 carries. He added another 38 yards and a touchdown through the air, and the Tiger defense notched four sacks while holding Ole Miss to just 6-16 on third down and 0-2 on fourth down.
